Police Body Cameras
Effective Monday, August 2nd, the Beach Haven Police Department will be implementing the use of Body Worn Cameras in accordance with the New Jersey Attorney General’s mandate. The cameras were purchased with the aid of a cooperative grant through the State of New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety Office of the Attorney General.

The Beach Haven Police Department will be accepting applications for Special Law Enforcement Officers, Class I, for the 2023 season.
Winter House Check Program
The Police Dept. has a “House Check” program for properties unoccupied during the off season. Download the form below if you would like the police to conduct checks on your property or have contact information in the event of an emergency. Forms may be dropped off or mailed to Beach Haven Police Dept. 300 Engleside Ave. Beach Haven, NJ 08008.
SENIORS AND DISABLED RESIDENTS
The Beach Haven Police Department offers an “Operation Safe Call” program to seniors and disabled residents who live alone. The program allows a resident to call in and speak to a representative of the Police Department on a daily basis. If the police do not hear from the resident within the appointed time, a call and/or visit will be made to check on that person. Registration forms for this program may be obtained at Borough Hall or at the Police Department during regular business hours and should be filled out and returned to the Beach Haven Police Department.
