STEPS TO REGISTER YOUR RENTAL PROPERTY WITH THE BOROUGH:

#1 READ: RENTAL DWELLING REQUIREMENTS

#2 INSPECTION: Have your rental dwelling inspected for smoke alarm/carbon monoxide alarm compliance with the Ocean County Fire Marshal’s office. CLICK HERE TO GET TO THE OC FIRE MARSHAL’S SITE

#3 REGISTER WITH THE BOROUGH: Once your inspection is complete, go to the new Rental Registration platform and enter your landlord registration information, submit proof of your fire inspection with the County and your current insurance declaration page for your rental property, and pay an administrative fee.
