Beach Haven Pickleball

Resident Seasonal passes: $80.00 (proof of residency required: NJ driver’s license, if Beach Haven address is not on your license, then, tax/water/sewer bill, or a 12-month lease are required AS WELL, dependents RESIDING IN THE HOME included
Non-Resident Seasonal passes: $120.00
Daily passes: $10.00 No Daily Passes Sold Until 10am (June 28th through August 18th)
Weekly passes: $30.00
Veterans: Free lifetime recreation badges are available for all veterans. Go to the Centre St. beach badge office, with proper ID and documentation, to obtain these badges. The badges can be used in all recreation areas.
Active Military: Free weekly wristbands are available for all active duty military and their immediate family members. Go to the Centre St. beach badge office, with proper ID and documentation, to obtain these wristbands. The wristbands can be used in all recreation areas.

Purchasing passes:

In Person at the Pickleball Shack: with cash or check (made out to the Borough of Beach Haven)

Courts for PB only: no glass, bikes, skateboards, roller blades, or skates allowed
Attire:no sandals or bare feet, non-marking shoes only, shirts required
Court Hours: Open 8am to 8pm with open play from 8am to noon.
Maximum occupancy: fifty (50) players
Balls and paddles: players provide their own
Bring a good attitude: courteous play and good sportsmanship required
DAILY PASS CHANGE: daily passes will not be sold until 10am, from June 28th to August 18th

Sign in: all players MUST sign in with the attendant at the shack when they arrive
8am Start Time: Players may go on the courts at 7:55am to wait for the 8am start time, NO HOLDING SPOTS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE NOT ARRIVED
Once courts are full: additional players write names in the first empty or partially filled box on the whiteboard
Groups: write all names in the next open box, all players listed MUST be off the court and ready to play, YOU CANNOT WRITE NAMES OF THOSE WHO ARE CURRENTLY PLAYING
Next group has less than 4 players: no other groups can play until that group is full, BE KIND AND JOIN IN WITH GROUPS THAT NEED MORE PLAYERS
Your box has an available court: cross all of your names off of the board and occupy the next court as soon as possible
Finished your game: announce “Court Open” and then you can sign back on the board again
Keep game play moving: watch the board and let others know when a court becomes available, fill the box for groups with less than 4 players if you can
Courts not filled: players should mix in with each other and rotate if others are waiting to play
ATTENTION: DO NOT ERASE NAMES OF OTHER PLAYERS OR MOVE THEM TO ANOTHER BOX
