VIRTUAL COURT PROCEEDINGS
You must contact the court at 609-492-0111 Ext. 228 or courtney.vanwagner@njcourts.gov prior to participating in a virtual court hearing.
You must watch the opening remarks by the judge prior to joining a virtual court session:

- When joining the court session you will be asked to certify that you watched the judges opening remarks.
Keys to a successful Zoom Virtual Court Appearance:
- Set up in a closed room with no noise or other people.
- Connect to the meeting using your real first and last name.
- Be sure to allow all connections to audio or video by Zoom.
- If you are not successful with video, be prepared to call in to the phone number listed with the Zoom meeting information.
As per AOC rules, audio and video recording of the proceedings are strictly prohibited. If you would like a copy of the proceeding, you can fill out a judiciary request form which can be found at New Jersey Courts Online.
What to do after your court appearance:
FINES
- Time Payment Plan: once your court appearance is complete, your fines are placed on a time payment plan. If you did not provide an email to the Municipal Court, the time payment paperwork will be sent via regular mail. If you need to adjust the frequency of your time payment plan, or are unable to pay, please contact the court office. If no one is available to assist you over the phone, please leave a voicemail with your name, number, and the reason for your call. Someone will return your call as soon as possible. If you need immediate assistance, please contact the court administrator via email at chelsie.havens@njcourts.gov.
- Ways to pay your fines:
a. In Person– at the Municipal Court window, via cash, credit card, check or money order (made out to the Beach Haven Municipal Court)
b. Through the mail- via check or money order (made out to the Beach Haven Municipal Court) *WE DO NOT RECOMMEND SENDING CASH IN THE MAIL*
