Press Release, August 2023

The Borough of Beach Haven and the Beach Haven Sewerage Authority are pleased to announce an organizational merger that will streamline the administrative tasks of the water and sewer operations. The merger, approved by ordinance of the Municipal Council, has received Local Finance Board approval and the Authority has become a Sewer Utility with the Borough itself.

The Authority Board members and staff served the Sewer Authority with professionalism and care since 1955.  The Authority will see several retirements, upon the effective date of this merger, and the remaining employee will be welcomed as a Beach Haven staff.

Taxpayers can expect to receive one bill, for both water and sewer, beginning with the fourth quarter of 2023.
