Blizzard Watch Update 1, 12:34pm

As you may already know we are now in a Blizzard Watch for our area.  This means there is a potential for falling and or blowing snow with strong winds that can lead to whiteout conditions and make travel dangerous.  We ask that you prepare for this Snow/flood event now.  During the periods of high tides, specifically Saturday morning, Saturday evening and Sunday morning, the back bays tides are going to be higher than normal due to the full moon and persistent onshore winds, this will lead to flooding. We ask that you move vehicles out of flood prone areas to higher ground and remove ALL vehicles and trailers off roadways to allow for street snow plowing.  Since we will also be experiencing NE winds of 30-40 mph with gusts 55+, please secure all outdoor furniture etc.  We will continue to monitor this storm, and supply updates to you as they come to us.  Be sure to follow LOCAL emergency networks for storm information.  (https://www.facebook.com/Beach-Haven-EOC-744430265606628/?ref=hl)
